Riccardo Gusmaroli
Biography
Riccardo Gusmaroli was born in Verona in 1963. His activities of photographer of architecture influence his artistic production, in 1990 he begins the collaboration with the gallery Toselli in Milan.
It is not the usual artistic image, but it sometimes almost disappears, covered by a thousand coloured signs, to reappear as a plastic form, almost sculptural.
The freedom with which ranges in the choice of materials and the areas that he uses is remarkable, but it is not a coincidence: the stamps, the maps of "all city", the maps and the vortices of boats (color on color) that suggest an immaginary travel with routes impossibles.
He showed his work in Turin, Milan, Barcelona, Bologna, Tel Aviv, Paris and New York.
He lives and work in Milan.
